Kandinsky continues his education, enrolling in the Munich Academy of Fine Arts in the class of Franz von Stuck, one of the finest painter of the period. He earns his diploma from the Academy. He begins participating in exhibitions of the Moscow Society of Artists (1900–1908). At the Academy, he meets Alexander von Salzmann and Ernst Stern
