Kandinsky continues to develop his "biomorphic" style, which combines with the geometricity of the Bauhaus period. Although the influence of the Surrealists is visible in his work, Kandinsky deliberately distances himself from Parisian art groups, preferring independence.

February – March: participation in the international group exhibition "Thesis, Antithesis, Synthesis" at the Swiss Kunstmuseum Luzern
