Zariff from Malaysia: These are simply boats, but he also tells us the story of interconnectedness and interdependence of people, represented by the lines that overlap some of the vessels. It means that whatever these boats do, such as: transporting goods and resources, fishing, digging for oil, or bringing weapons and soldiers abroad, have repercussions that echo throughout lives of many others.
